The tea is made from spring tea harvested in 2006 and was compressed in 2010. It uses arbor spring tea from the Yiwu region, featuring a plum aroma accompanied by honey fragrance that lingers in the cup and lasts long. It has low bitterness and astringency, with a quick, strong, and long-lasting returning sweetness (Hui Gan) and salivation effect. The tea has a delicate and smooth texture, is highly durable for multiple infusions, and has fresh, tender tea leaves. The tea liquor is golden and crystal clear.
When steeped for an extended time, bitterness becomes noticeable, but astringency remains weak. The bitterness fades extremely quickly, leaving a strong salivation effect and lasting sweetness. This tea exemplifies the classic Yiwu Zhengshan (authentic Yiwu) style, making it an excellent choice for newcomers to Pu-erh tea.
